Headshots

Headshots are not permitted:

  • Where the individual is only quoted within an article
  • Where the writer is a representative of the contracting partner
  • As hero imagery for any format
  • In marketing assets

Preferred formats and positions:

  • Custom illustrations are preferred for interview formats
  • For op-eds, position should be next to byline at the bottom of the piece
  • Where writers/contributors to a standard article wish to be featured, group shots or shots of the individual speaking at an event are an alternative to corporate headshots

Generative AI Imagery

We do not accept imagery created with generative AI on co-created content.

The use of GAI imagery for for client supplied campaigns may be permissible if there is a suitable editorial use case.

Any proposed imagery must be shared with the FT team for approval, along with any supporting copy and the names of the tooling used to create the assets.
